Welcome to Home of Hope

We are a Voluntary Social Service Organization and a Non Governmental Organization caring for orphaned and destitute children and other needy persons in the rural community around Digana, Kandy Sri Lanka. The Project is situated on a 25 acre land 20 KM away from Kandy.

Orphanage Home of Hope’s Goal is to give care to children in need who are affected by poverty & social problems. It is a very special Home. Its not just an **“ orphanage ”** but we provide love, care, education, good food and clothing. The children are looked after in small batches which helps them to feel more homely!

They Need Your Help

When you make a Donation You may use one of the following ways. The Donation will direct go to Home of Hope Account in Sri Lanka.

You may want to dedicate a donation in memory of a loved one, for a birthday or wedding etc that also could be done and be assured of our prayers towards that donation.

Story of the month

Home of Hope was one of the ten finalist receiving 82 points in the competition held by the Probation & Childcare Department.

We are very proud to say that we were able to achieve this place in a short period of time of 12 years.

Our Programs

We have set up a Hand-loom Weaving Center to train women & girls in the area.

We will also be setting up an Oral Health Care Center.

We wish to start an early education center and a feeding center for children in the vicinity while teaching them English too.

We have setup a Disabled Child Care Center as well.

We have completed building a Medical Centre at Home of Hope

We will be constructing a new unit for babies.
